HuggleCause™, Project K-9 Hero, K-9 Mattis Knottie® Plush Dog Toy - Large

HuggleGroup™ is once again proud to support Project K-9 Hero in honoring the incredible service of K-9 Mattis, a decorated German Shepherd who served in narcotics detection, tracking, apprehension, and protection. Mattis was actively deployed from 2015 to 2021 alongside his handler, Mark Tappan, and together they assisted in over 200 arrests.

Mattis’ accolades include:

• Purple Heart

• Officer of the Year

• AKC Paw of Courage

• AKC Excellence in Service Police K-9s

Today, Mattis and Mark continue to raise awareness and funds for Project K-9 Hero, a national nonprofit that provides medical care, food, and other essential needs for retired police and military working dogs, as well as helping those who need rehabilitation and adoption after service. This mission helps “Protect Those Who Protected Us.”
